Halff’s Montgomery Named ASCE Corpus Christi Young Engineer of the Year

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Halff Public Works Team Leader Evan Montgomery, PE, PMP, was named Young Engineer of the Year by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Corpus Christi Branch.

The Young Engineer of the Year Award recognizes young engineers who have made outstanding contributions to the civil engineering profession and their communities during the early years of their career.

Montgomery is a licensed professional engineer with experience managing multimillion-dollar, heavy civil construction projects with a proven history of delivering under budget and ahead of schedule. He is also actively involved as treasurer for the ASCE Corpus Christi Branch. Montgomery earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas Tech University.

Montgomery received the award at the 2025 Joint Society Job Fair and Awards Banquet presented by the ASCE Corpus Christi Branch.
